During a recent renovation in our community, a public playground for kids was built directly under utility power lines. Im wondering if this is considered best practice, whether it poses safety concerns for kids , and if it could be a violation of utility codes.

Do you know if there are specific clearance distances or guidelines i should be looking for, or does it vary a lot by area?Building a playground directly under power lines isn't usually best practice. It can pose safety risks like electrical hazards, and might violate local utility codes...so it's worth checking with authorities for compliance
