During a recent renovation in our community, a public playground for kids was built directly under utility power lines. Im wondering if this is considered best practice, whether it poses safety concerns for kids , and if it could be a violation of utility codes.

Building a playground directly under power lines isn't usually best practice. It can pose safety risks like electrical hazards, and might violate local utility codes...so it's worth checking with authorities for compliance

Thanks for the heads up!! Do you know if there are specific clearance distances or guidelines i should be looking for, or does it vary a lot by area?
